GitHub release assets

Avrea caches files downloaded from GitHub releases, including some downloads made by mise, Homebrew, and other tools. Use your existing download commands.

Enable GitHub Release Asset Cache in organization or repository settings. It is off by default and works independently of Package Manager Cache. The setting applies to new jobs and refreshed hosted environments on hosts that support release-asset caching.

Downloads served by release-assets.githubusercontent.com are eligible. Other download hosts and GitHub source archives are not covered by this setting.

Cache hits still require a valid GitHub download URL. Downloads that cannot be validated use GitHub directly without caching. A partial download can use an existing cached file, but does not populate the cache on a miss.

View activity under GitHub Release Assets. Turn off the setting to stop routing downloads through this cache.
